Foreign renters must provide an international driving permit or a valid license from their home country, their original passport for verification, arrival/departure tickets, Bali accommodation proof, an active Instagram screenshot, an active phone number, and an emergency contact in Bali.

Can long-stay renters replace the return ticket requirement?

Yes. For rentals longer than one month, or when a departure ticket is not available, Ridenation may accept alternative approved documents such as work or Bali domicile evidence.

Is a security deposit required?

Yes. A refundable deposit of IDR 3,000,000 is required before rental. It is returned when the motorcycle comes back in matching condition, excluding very minor wear.

How are damage costs handled?

Repair costs are calculated transparently using estimates from Ridenation's partner workshop, Royal Engine. The amount is deducted from the deposit, and if repair costs exceed the deposit, the renter must pay the difference.

What is the age requirement?

Renters must be at least 18 years old and not older than 59, and they must hold a valid SIM C or international license.

How can I pay for the rental?

Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, or QRIS. The rental must be fully paid at pickup or at booking confirmation.

Can I cancel or reschedule after payment?

No. Payments are non-refundable, and rescheduling is not allowed after payment unless Ridenation gives written approval.

Are there any riding restrictions?

Motorcycles may not be taken to beaches, outside Bali, into rivers, lakes, or illegal areas, and they may not be sub-rented or used for commercial services like ride-hailing.

What happens if I return the motorcycle late?

Late returns are charged at 10% of the daily rate per hour. More than 5 hours late is charged as one full extra rental day.

Is insurance included?

No. The rental price does not include personal accident, motorcycle damage, or third-party liability insurance. Damage, fines, third-party losses, and rider injury remain the renter's responsibility.

How does fuel work?

All motorcycles are handed over with a full tank and must be returned full-to-full. If the tank is not full on return, a refueling fee plus a service charge of IDR 350,000 applies.

Can I extend the rental?

Yes, but you must notify Ridenation at least 12 hours before the rental ends. An extension is only valid after unit availability is confirmed and payment is completed.

What happens if the bike, helmet, or rain gear is lost?

If the motorcycle is lost, the renter must cover the fair second-hand market replacement value for the same model and year. Lost helmets are charged IDR 500,000 each, and lost rain gear is charged IDR 200,000 each.
